Who is responsible
This website is operated under the name Vatican Museums Tickets. You can contact the operator about privacy at book@vaticanmuseumstickets.it. Vatican Museums Tickets is an independent website and is not affiliated with the Vatican Museums.
What this site does not do
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels. We do not have user accounts, contact forms, a shopping cart or payment processing. We do not sell personal data.
Data processed when you visit
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you load a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested address. Cloudflare processes this data to deliver the site, protect it against abuse and keep it secure, and may keep logs for these purposes. See the Cloudflare privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Fonts and site files
Fonts, styles and graphics are served from our own domain. Loading them does not send data to font or image services.
The Tiqets booking widget
The home page and the ticket pages contain a booking widget provided by Tiqets, our booking partner. When you open these pages, your browser connects to Tiqets servers, which receive technical data such as your IP address and may use cookies or similar technologies. Tiqets is responsible for that processing under its own privacy and cookie policies, available on the Tiqets website (opens in a new tab).
Links to Tiqets and other sites
Booking buttons take you to Tiqets in a new tab. These links contain a partner code so that Tiqets can attribute bookings to this site. When you book, Tiqets and the relevant tour or ticket supplier process your booking and payment data under their own policies. We do not receive your payment details. We may receive aggregated or limited booking information needed to calculate commissions, according to the partner programme terms.
Links to official sources, such as the Vatican Museums website, open in a new tab and are governed by the privacy policies of those sites.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we process your email address, name if provided and the content of your message to reply and to handle any follow up. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps you ask us to take. We keep messages only as long as needed for that purpose and then delete them. Please do not send payment card details or identity documents.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

We update this policy when the site or the services it uses change. The current version is always on this page.
